Hall Rentals
The Norwood Community Center is an air conditioned and wheelchair accessible facility with 3 accessible washroom areas. It has 2 halls for rent with a large hall capacity of 258 people, and a smaller one for 155 people. Total capacity is 413 when both halls are rented together. The smaller room is great for a quieter setting, so you can comfortably talk amongst each other while the party happens in the larger hall. Our Common Room near the entrance is where we set up the tables for your social prizes and ticket tables. Please check out the video of our facility below. We have a large deck off the main hall, which is great for wedding ceremonies that overlooks our field and in the background our city along the river.

Our Social or Wedding Package Includes
- Social Rental (both halls): Full Capacity 413 People
- Social Rental (large hall only): 258 People
- Wedding Rental: Large Hall 150 People (19 round tables)
Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, 7-Up, Schweppes Ginger Ale, Orange Juice, Clamato Juice, Cranberry Juice, Tonic Water, 16oz Beer Cups, 9oz Wine Cups, 1oz Shot cups, 2 Bars, 3 Bartenders, Supervisors, Front Door Staff, White plastic Table clothes, Wrist Bands and music by First Dance DJ Service. When it comes to the prize draws, we'll set up a table in the hall, just announce your grand prizes, 50/50, and door prize and we'll post the regular prizes on the big screen. Rental also includes:
- Your own key to a locked cabinet to keep your social money secure and safe - also personal belongings
- Fridge to hold all your social food - meats, cheese, pickles, cakes or cold items
- Setup is 12:00noon to 3:00pm the day of your social for setup (back in at 7:30pm before your social starts)
- Two bars: Main bar in the main hall and a small bar in the small hall
- Ice is provided at both bars - (shots and wine served at the main bar only, small bar serves beer and liquor)
- Deck is available until 10:00pm and then closed (depending on weather) - smoking is permitted outside the front doors
- Big screen in the main hall and smaller tv in the small hall for videos and prize draws
A $500.00 deposit is required to book the hall for socials
MUSIC PROVIDED BY:
We are Winnipeg's only FULL-TIME Video DJ service! Music Videos, Holographic and 3D Projections, Big Screens, Intelligent Lighting, Up-Lighting, Live Stream Events, Master of Ceremonies, Weddings, Socials, Interactive Entertainment and more! We also provide front-of-house systems for live bands if you have a live band for your social, wedding or event. We'll keep the party going between band breaks and will close the night.
First Dance DJ Service is included in our Social Packages and Weddings. There is no "disconnection fee" to provide your own DJ. For any other additions, add-ons, extra time, ceremony service or special requirements, please contact them. First Dance DJ Service
